The Shrum tool, also known as a Travelers Hook or a Carolina Roller, features a rugged handle and a 1.5" spring steel probe with a 90 degree bend. I bought the short and long one. I looked at tons of different ones. There was one I considered nicer but it was 25 not including the shipping. This is pretty much a home run. Great tools, well made, and they aren't trying to Gouge you. Thanks

Good price. Tool seems solid. The point isn’t too sharp, so you could probably have it in a nylon pouch without stabbing a hole through it.
Would be nice to see a different color handle though. -

As for the product.
The price and quality is amazing!
I could not find a cheaper one and I was worries about the quality when I bought it at first.
When it did arrive and I can actually hold and test it, it was sturdy and build to last.

A must have!
I use these so often that I just HAD to add one to the order. Went to throw it in Bag#1 but it already had three in it. Bag#2 had two. Seems this one will go in Case #1 then. These almost do everything and I couldn’t imagine going without one… or two... or three… or….

Handy tool, great price from a fantastic store.
This is exactly the tool I needed for pick work. I got the 2" one, they also have a 6" one which was more than I needed. Lots of other places sell this model of pick, but MBA's prices are very reasonable. More importantly, it pleases me to do business with a reputable US company that's committed to service and education. I appreciate that sort of small business and do everything I can to support them.
