This unique tool pulls the dial off with steady pressure. Simply attach to the dial with the six hardened set screws. Then, gradually screw in the foot posts against the safe door until the dial pulls off.

compact dial puller
Best thing since peanut butter. I used this to pull a dial off a cheap direct drive lock. If you've ever pulled one you know it's swedged on. But it was no match for the compact dial puller. Initial pull was hard then came right off. The tool held up and didn't show any looseness afterward.

Great tool
I have used a slide hammer type puller for many years. After trying this I won't be using the slide hammer type any more. No chance of deforming the lock case and effortless to use.
