This Sargent & Greenleaf mechanical combination lock package includes a model 6730 lock body, a D220 dial, and a R167 dial ring.

The black and white dial is top reading (Spy Proof) with a spindle length to accommodate doors up to 3-1/2” thick.

The Model 6730 is the venerable standard of the industry for mechanical safe locks. This UL 768 Group 2 listed lock features a brass lever and three brass and aluminum combination wheels.

Includes spline key, change key and mounting hardware.

    Straightforward

    I bought this to replace a LaGard 4200 electronic lock on a Winchester safe sold by Tractor Supply that was still functional but I decided to replace because of their history of failures. The replacement was relatively straightforward and instructions were good.

    I did not need one, but 1 or 2 extra brass spline keys ought to be included in the package. They would cost next to nothing for the manufacturer to include in a $90 lockset. They are single use and if you need to adjust after initial installation, you would have an open safe until you were able to locate a new one. They are ridiculously priced to buy separately ($1.35 each), but I would recommend including at least one extra in your order.
