Just installed the S&G Spartan pivotbolt lock and keypad on my 20 year old safe. Installation was pretty easy, and the apparent quality of the parts was impressive. Really glad I chose this lock package, with the superb help from Alan at MBA.

Great lock easy to install, however use the S&G website video for installation. The enclosed instructions have the wrong pictures and instructions instructions for the SG1006-234 lock. The locks are factory set in the Star Mode. Use the star mode instructions side for resetting the factory master code.

First off, MBAUSA is a legit company not a take on Mercedes Benz (MBUSA.com). I am very happy with their chat, knowledge, product, price and delivery. I withheld a star because I was not informed, unaware that there was an auto-locker device and a special bracket was needed to enable this security feature after updated the lock. For me, it was a simple google search and cut a piece of steel to function like safe manufacturer intended. This was also not included in the lock instructions.

I had no idea what I needed to do to replace an old La Gard keypad and bolt system but the folks at MBA were super responsive answering my emails and providing options without a high pressure sales pitch. Fast shipping and a easy 30 minute job and I was done. Great value with great customer service- a rare combination these days.
