We enjoy the quality and functionality of this product. It can be installed by any safe technician. We recommend mechanical solutions with manipulation resistance on TL rated containers but the SafeLogic Extreme is a perfect choice for those that want Electronic convenience with mechanical reliability.

First and foremost, where you purchase a product these days is almost if not as important as the product you are purchasing. In other words, will the seller provide good customer support or are you left holding the bag. Put simply, the folks at MBA are top notch in my book, 5 stars for that alone. As for the lock, I love it. Given the easy of use with a digital keypad and the backup reassurance of a traditional mechanical lock it's a wonderful piece of mind when locking up my valuables. The installation took a little longer than I expected, but I'm a cautious do-it-yourself kind of person, and I really didn't want to screw this up. I also ran into an issue where the installation video made reference to two brass mounting screws, but the package contained 4 zinc plated mounting screws, and the screws were metric, and my mounting holes were not. So that required a quick trip to Home Depot. Then my re-locker plate was considerably different than the one in the video, so that required a little ingenuity and another trip to Home Depot. The important thing to keep in mind as you are replacing an old lock, is that this is a new lock, and you may need to make some minor accommodations.

I love the features of this lock, and it looks good and feels substantial. It is very easy to install. MBAUSA has the best price on this Safelogic Xtreme lock, and they were very helpful during the ordering process. It has been a five star experience.

Great product, easy install. Would have given 5 stars but 2 important screws were missing from package. Had to stop install to find replacements. MBA USA: Many thanks for pointing out the missing screws! We will make certain to triple check that in the future.

I have been selling customers on this lock because they like the ease of a electronic keypad/lock and the assurance they can get it open mechanically. I like the solid feel & design of this keypad, and the features. The keypad lights up, and when you pull the outer ring up to go to mechanical mode the outer dial lights at the top.
