- Used in prepping a door for proper installation of Sargent & Greenleaf's 2890 Lock Series
- The fixture is placed at 41-1/2" AFF and against the surface where the strike will be mounted
- Once this is established the correct backset for the device is set based on the strike location
- For use on inswing, outswing, single and double doors
- Eliminates the need for using the provided paper templates
- No need to mount the strike to determine the backset
