Description
If an error is made when setting a new combination to a Sargent & Greenleaf padlock, models 8077 or 8088, the lock can be reset if the change key hole is still open. This set of tools is designed to reset the wheels in the lock so a new combination can be set again. One tool unlocks each wheel, one at a time. The other tool is used to lock the wheels again. Includes complete illustrated instructions.
This set is for resetting the lock only. It does not include a change key. A change key for the 8077 or 8088 padlock is available separately. See stock number SG8077-043

Old S&G 8088 Bricked
Perfect tool for a factory reset. If this is your first time using this tool set, it may feel like you’re actually having to pick the lock. But after you get proficient, it works like a charm. My lock is now fully restored.
