Description
Also known as a bench key by clock and watch makers, the double ended letdown key is essentially two winding keys on a single handle. However, this Double Ended Letdown Key is used to unwind or "let-down" over-wound time lock movements. The smaller size key marked with two grooves near the end of the handle is the size used for most time locks. The other end is slightly larger and is used for Mosler and Banker's Dustproof movements.
The handle is machined from acetal (Delrin). The ends are made from brass.
