    Very good replacement

    I am In the process of rebuilding a Winchester Ranger gun safe the existing tumbler was to damaged to reuse so I went with the S&G Spartan went in very well programing was a little tricky for me but it works great

    Replaced my Gun Safe combination lock with this product. Exactly fit. Easy programing. Recommended for anyone looking for a upgrade.

    Lock replacement

    I have a Browning Pro Steel safe and the original Spartan Z02 rotary bolt lock was taking numerous attempts to unlock. I replaced it with this Spartan pivot bolt lock. It works great but it was more difficult to replace than expected. Had to temporarily install lock with only one screw installed because upper vertical locking bar blocked two screw holes with safe unlocked and pivot bolt in fully extended locked position. Had to get pivot bolt to retract before all screws could be installed. I'm not a locksmith but was able to figure out how to mount lock with only one screw to get pivot bolt to retract and finish the installation. If I had not been able to do that, the upper locking arm would have to be removed and I probably could not have done that and a professional would be needed.
