OMEGA REDUNDANT SWINGBOLT KEY LOCK PACKAGE W/ CHROME KEYPAD

Instructions are for programming only basically. The installation on this Centurian which appears to to be the same as some Stackons I have seen, took about 3 hours working slowly. Using harbor freight step bits, Had to drill out lock holes in door, two plates, inside, outside and then a third in the lockset mounting plate, which is welded to the inside panel. Using double sided tape, I positioned the lockset to the mounting plate and marked the 4 mounting holes and drilled and tapped for 1/4 20 Thread. The inside door panel on this safe is covered by the lockset mount so I used a 7/8" Step bit and opened it to 7/8" which works fine for clearance of cable and key. Cleaned up, hooked up and works great. Being mindful that expensive or inexpensive, a lock keeps an honest person honest. With time any lock can be defeated. If the electronics fail, the key will bail me out. I'm happy with it and probably will purchase same again in the future.

I converted an Older Electronic Safe to the Keyed/Combo Setup. I knew the conversion was going to require the Door to come off, and Welding/Grinding to be performed.. To get he 'Foot Print' of the Key Slot and Bolt Pattern, I Voided the Warranty, and took the cover off the Bolt Assembly to make a Pattern for the Slot and Bolts. Would have been nice to have a Paper Template to work from.. A little tricky to get the Lock back together, but not impossible. The Spring does not jump, and grease holds it in place.
I got my Safe back together in about 4 Hours, and it looks nice.

Shipping was great, product was as advertised. No problem with installation, did have to resize the hole in safe door.

Good product. Four vs. five stars because the plastic dial surround and tactile feel of the keypad could feel like higher quality but I don’t regret purchasing. Be sure to inspect your safe and visualize having to expand the hole the original shaft goes through to fit the key and wiring. Mine was not super easy but having the backup key is worth it in my opinion.

This lock was a perfect replacement for my Stack On Elite! I did have to drill a couple of mount holes on the back keypad plate, but the locations were already marked out. After several non-answered emails to Stack On, I decided to give this a try. Glad I did! Thank You MBA USA!!

Ordered this lock for my Cannon gun safe so I could have the backup of a key for the lock. Installation instructions a bit vague but sufficient. To install this lock there must be a 1" diameter hole in the door and lock mount plate so the key will be able to engage the lock. This is not revealed in the installation instructions. Note that also the steel plate that the lock mechanism actually mounts to is probably going to be a high carbon steel for security reasons making it difficult to drill to say the least. Once I modified my safe for the key and installed lock it works great.

Very good value for the price. The redundant key lock feature is a nice touch and gives assurance that we will still be able to open the lock if the electronic release fails. Easy to program and use.
