SafeLogic XTREME Swing Bolt Lock Package w/ Black Chrome Keypad, EMP Proof, RH Mounting

The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is I purchased two of these, one from another seller, purchased November or lees than 11 months ago and one has just failed to open by electronic combo, the other is working fine. I like everything about this Keypad except this short term failure.

Easy to install

Installation except for a couple of self-induced hiccups went well. Easy to set up except for modding the re-locker plate and much better constructed than the SG digital lock set it replaced. The black chrome finish matches the lever on my safe perfectly.

Had to pre-order my lock (SR-XTREME-BC), but everything was delivered and product was exactly what it was suppose to be. When I installed the lock, I could not reuse the bolts to mount the DialRing, so I had to buy the M4 bolts noted in installation guide. These were the only items mentioned in installation guide, but were not included, nor were they noted to be included. The lock mounted perfect. The lock body was about 1/4" thicker so you may have to fab the relocker. I was able to drill a new mount hole and bend mine over the lockbody, about a 1/4", worked perfectly. (You can purchase one but it looked like a piece of tin). I made it from a 1/16" thick corner brace from the hardware store. Second adjustment, the holes to hold the relocker plate are recessed and the supplied bolts were to short. However, I was able to reuse the ones from the previous lock! Followed the instructions on resetting the combination, PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THE LAST NUMBER SETTING, noted in the guide. Tried the RESET option, doesn't seem to work...hopefully I won't need to use it. Registered the lock with no issue, it's best to write down the 2 SNs (keypad and lock) before you mount/install. Other than the RESET not working, everything works perfectly and I couldn't be happier.
In addition, MBA USA customer service was spot on, thanks guys. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again.

After watching the install video, I began installation. I have an older safe with a solid steel plate door, a hardened plate, and another steel plate to mount the lock. Problem was, the bolts to install the lock were to long and I had to grind them down to fit. Then the lock mounted perfect. The holes to hold the plate are recessed and the supplied bolts were to short. I found some in my garage that fit perfect!
Now I watched the video on setting the combo (both keypad and dial.
Bottom line: It worked perfect! I couldn't be happier!
Final note: I would have paid a couple more bucks for the product to have an assortment of bolt lengths to make the install easier. If I hadn't been a machinist for the last 30 years and had a garage full of tools, I would have had to leave my safe open and unlocked to make a trip to the hardware store.
Once again MBA USA delivered. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again.
